PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION FORM.
The Corporation has prescribed an Application Form for the purpose, available in Head Office and Regional Offices of SSIC. The application form duly filled in, alongwith the following documents, should be submitted to the Estate Officer of the respective Small Industrial Estate/Park.
- Undertaking on Judicial/Non-Judicial Stamp Paper.
- A certificate to be issued by a Bank with regard to financial position of the applicant.
- Copies of National Identity Card of the Proprietor/Partners/Directors as the case may be alongwith attested copy of the Partnership Deed/Memorandum and Article of Association alongwith Registration Certificate from the Registrar Joint Stock Companies.
- Specimen of signature of the applicant duly attested.
- 20% cash deposit of the total of premium in the shape of DD/PO in the name of Sindh Small Industries Corporation.
Estate Officer shall examine the application keeping in view the location policy/specified list of Industries and other policies/orders of the Government. Complete application shall be forwarded by him alongwith observation within 10 days to concerned Regional Director, who shall forward the same to Director (E&I) SSIC, Head Office, Karachi.
An Allotment Committee has been constituted for the allotment of plots after completing all codal formalities.
GENERAL RULES FOR THE ALLOTMENT
Allotment of plot in Small Industrial Estates/Industrial Parks will be governed by the following general terms:
After consideration of request of the applicant, on receipt of Provincial Allotment Order, the allottee will furnish following documents within 30 days.
- Acceptance of terms & conditions specified in the Agreement to Lease.
- Advance Licence Fee/Rental for one year at the rate of Rs. 1/- per Sq.Yd. per annum and Rs. 100/- towards Registration Fee.
- Undertaking duly signed, not to demand water from SSIC for construction purposes at all and for subsequent purpose till it can be supplied by the Corporation.
- Two trade reference showing the names and addresses.
NON-UTILIZATION FEE
The allottee will be bound to establish the proposed industrial unit within 24 months from the date of taking over physical possession of plot. In case of failure, non-utilization fee would be charged from the allottee @ 5% of premium per annum for the first 3 years, 8% for next 2 years and subsequently 10% for the period until the allottee establish his industrial unit.
